III International Halal (Muslim-friendly) Tourism Conference will be held
On May 10-12, 2024, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, Afyon Kocatepe University, Halal Accreditation Agency (HAK), Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) and International Halal Tourism Association (IHATO) will organize an International Halal (Muslim-friendly) Tourism Conference. This prestigious event will be held at Izmir Royal Teos Thermal Resort Hotel, which has a halal tourism concept.
Scientists and researchers, tourism experts, official representatives of different countries, rectors and vice-rectors of universities in different countries of the world, representatives of international hotel brands, hotel owners and general managers, CEOs of tour companies, travel bloggers and journalists will participate in the three-day event.
The event is international in nature. Stakeholders from 22 countries have already confirmed their participation. In plenary and panel sessions, new ideas and expectations of guests on various topics such as new expectations in Muslim-friendly tourism, hotel management in Muslim-friendly tourism, management of travel agencies in Muslim-friendly tourism, certification in Muslim-friendly tourism, Muslim-friendly tourism and marketing, Muslim-friendly tourism and financial issues, will be discussed.
The registration fee for participation in the event is 750 TL. Participation for undergraduate and graduate students is 450 TL.
