Kohsar University Murree, Kafala Foundation (an Agri‑and‑Livelihood expert), and Diya Welfare Foundation, Sialkot, have signed memorandam of understanding. The agreements were signed by Vice‑Chancellor of Kohsar University Murree, Prof. Dr. Rafia Mumtaz, and, on behalf of the partner organizations, Jamal Abbasi (Operational Supervisor, Kafala Foundation), Umar Saeed (Department Head, Admin/Media), and Muhammad Amir (Director, Diya Welfare).

Under the MoU, Kohsar University will provide academic, educational and research support, while Kafala Foundation will deliver practical training. To promote modern agriculture, agri‑entrepreneurship will be offered, introducing modern farming, smart agri‑tech and innovative ideas. The institutions will also provide internships to university students, including field work and training on the use of modern agricultural machinery, thereby revitalizing agriculture and creating extensive business and employment opportunities.

Diya Welfare will organize awareness seminars and field activities on hemophilia and women’s empowerment. At the ceremony, Vice‑Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rafia Mumtaz said the university would play a full role in raising awareness about hemophilia, empowering women, and truly reviving agriculture in District Murree. This will ensure that the local population receives pure food and business opportunities at their doorstep, helping to raise the standard of living in the area.
