Kohsar University Murree and Akhuwat Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for mutual cooperation. In this connection, Vice‑Chancellor of Kohsar University Murree, Prof. Dr. Rafia Mumtaz, met with the founder and head of Akhuwat Foundation, the distinguished academic, literary and social figure Dr. Amjad Saqib, in Lahore. During the meeting, the outlines of the collaboration were defined.

Subsequently, a meeting was held at the Vice‑Chancellor’s Secretariat of Kohsar University Murree. Akhuwat Foundation pledged all‑out support to the university and formally signed the MoU. The MoU was signed on behalf of Akhuwat Foundation by its representative, Mishal Athar Shah. On this occasion, Akhuwat Foundation announced two scholarships for the Department of Computer Science.

The Vice‑Chancellor of Kohsar University Murree thanked the honored guests and Dr. Amjad Saqib for their cooperation with the university and praised their comprehensive services to the nation in glowing terms. It should be noted that, since the day of her appointment, the Vice‑Chancellor has been continuously active in improving academic standards and providing financial assistance to students, heralding a bright future for Kohsar University Murree.
